#CarbonPriceForum: What’s the best way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while stimulating the economy? Join Stephen Lewis and an expert panel to discuss how to effectively put a price on carbon in Canada. Two methods are frequently proposed: Cap and Trade and a Carbon Tax. This event has HUGE global implications because Ontario (Canada's largest province) is about to pick a carbon price (and so is Nova Scotia). Many politicians are going to be in the room or watching line. A federal price on carbon will be almost unstoppable in the next couple years, once Ontario pick the price. We are in a very critical stage right now in Canada with regards to tipping the scale to carbon fee and dividend. The environmental rules under NAFTA will pull the USA along ... Barring exceptional funding of the denial by the Kochs et al - this moment in time, is what we have been waiting for and why we partnered across the borders.
