During the COP20 meetings, we will hold a series of informal Coffee Confabs: conversations on the sidelines of the UNFCCC meetings and side events, featuring discussions of country context, sector-specific impacts, and the economic efficiency of carbon pricing. These Coffee Confabs will answer questions about policy, brainstorm how to give new voice to stakeholder interest and unique market dynamics. These discussions will also be oriented toward building the Pathway to Paris coalition.
Attendees and observers, delegates and organizations, will have an opportunity to speak with Joseph Robertson, Citizens' Climate Lobby's Global Strategy Director and coordinator of the Pathway to Paris project. Building the Pathway to Paris coalition is oriented toward accelerating the process of citizen engagement, which is described, in part, in this report from the World Bank / IMF Annual Meetings.
